Aircraft Electronics Repair Technician -- Entry level maintenance position installing, troubleshooting, and repairing  instrumentation and flight control electronic systems on the United States Air Force (USAF) C-5 A/B aircraft.   Work was initially performed under direct supervision of senior technicians.  Supervision was progressively reduced as system knowledge and electro-mechanical abilities and skills increased.  Technical manuals and aircraft wiring schematics were utilized to accomplish work.  Strict adherence to established safety USAF maintenance standards and safety guidelines was required to ensure proper repairs and the safety of both the maintenance personnel and aircrew members.  Documentation of work accomplished and repairs performed was required for both long term archiving and shift-to-shift "turn-over".  Attended regular training to learn additional aircraft systems and to increase existing system knowledge.
